 1990 – 2006: In this sixteen year span Hap won 98 Grand Prix events in the United States, Canada and Mexico on twenty-one different horses.

Career wins: over $2,000,000 in prize money

2006: Recipient CPHA Lifetime Achievement Award

2004: At the Spruce Meadows Masters Hap joined the elite group of riders who have won over $1 million dollars in prize money at Spruce Meadows.

1998: Won the World Equestrian Games (WEG) Canadian Trials and one US Trial

1994: American Horse Shows Association Hertz Rider of the Year

1992 – 1995: Hap won the World Cup Qualifying Grand Prix at the Los Angeles International Horse Show four years in a row on four different horses

1990: Hap won the coveted Johnny-Walker/American Grand Prix Association (AGA) Rider of the Year

1988: Tied for 6th place in the FEI World Cup Finals in Gothenberg, Sweden aboard ‘Juniperus’ (highest placing American rider)

1986: Member of Winning Nations Cup Team at Spruce Meadows aboard ‘Juniperus’

1985: Tied for 6th place in the FEI World Cup Finals in Berlin, Germany aboard ‘Maybe’
